Scripts and settings

Scripts, talking points, and app settings are stored on your device. Clean Prompter does not upload them to a developer-operated server.

Camera, microphone and recordings

If you choose to use built-in camera mode, the app uses the camera and, if you enable recording audio, the microphone after you grant permission. Recordings are saved to your device’s media library. The app does not stream or upload them.

On Android, the optional floating teleprompter uses Android’s display-over-other-apps permission to show your selected script over another app. It runs only when you start floating mode and stops when you exit it. The floating mode does not record audio or video.

Purchases

Android purchases and subscription management are handled by Google Play. When you buy or restore a product, Clean Prompter receives purchase status and product information from Google Play to determine whether the purchase is active. The app does not receive your full payment-card details, and Clean Prompter does not send purchase data to a developer-operated server. Google handles payment information under its own privacy terms.

Analytics, advertising and sharing

The current app versions do not include advertising or analytics SDKs. Clean Prompter does not sell personal information or share it with advertising companies. The app uses Google Play Billing on Android to offer and verify in-app purchases; Google Play processes those transactions.

Retention and deletion

Scripts, settings, and recordings remain on your device until you delete them. You can delete scripts in the app, delete recordings in your media library, or remove app data using your device settings. Google Play purchases are managed through your Google Play account and the Play Store’s purchase and subscription controls.
